About sunsilk
This Roblox game encourages interest in entrepreneurial skills, inciting you in a fun way to build your own empire from scratch.
This game is made up of many mini-games that contain a variety of activities, from running your own hair salon, fighting, flying and even taking online courses at House of Silk.
Sunsilk is a British hair care brand, which is part of Unilever. So as well as having a huge variety of features to create your own avatar, it also has a special focus on the thousands of hairstyle combinations in House of Hair.
Challenge
In this specific case, my job was to design the icons for this Roblox game. For this it was very important to soak myself well in the brand identity, as initially I didn't knew the project in depth. It was important to analyse the style to achieve harmony between the icons and the rest of the game.
The Process
With the help of the Style Guide and the look and feel of the game I first designed some vectors in Illustrator and then made the 2D designs for the final icons. In my opinion I achieved a simplified version of some icons that needed to be redesigned and an adapted design of the newly incorporated ones.
